You embark upon your sustainable quest the moment you step through the huge falcon-wing doors of our brand-new Tesla Model X. With zero emissions, Excalibur’s luxury electric SUV offers up to five guests a uniquely smooth, quiet ride, allowing you to immerse yourself in the serenity of the vineyards nestled among the rolling hills.

Your Quest will typically include visits to three or four wineries over six to eight hours, depending on your itinerary and preferences.

When you reserve your quest— either online or by phone — you’ll have the opportunity to share your preferences. Whether you’re drawn to large estates or boutique wineries, newer or well-established châteaux, specific AVAs, or particular vintages, we’re here to curate your experience. Our diverse portfolio features 65 LIVE-certified wineries across nine celebrated AVAs, highlighting the best in sustainable viticulture.

The base price for an Excalibur Vintage Quest is $500, plus an additional $25 per guest. For example, a Quest with two guests would be $550.
Wine tasting fees, food purchases, and gratuities are not included in the tour price. This allows you the flexibility to personalize your experience to your preferences.
Wineries usually waive tasting fees with a minimum wine purchase, and always with a club membership. Excalibur also offers a substantial incentive to join a wine club (see below).
A $200 deposit will reserve your Quest, ensuring your spot for an unforgettable experience.
As you enjoy a day exploring the Willamette Valley’s finest sustainable vineyards, you’re bound to work up an appetite! Fortunately, you have an enticing variety of dining options to consider during your Quest.
Many wineries offer a variety of delectable choices which pair well with their wines, ranging from gourmet meals or wood-fired pizzas to delicious sandwiches and charcuterie platters. If this is what you prefer, let us know your dining style — whether you’re craving an elevated culinary experience or something simple and satisfying to enjoy alongside your wine.
For those who prefer to bring their own food, some wineries welcome outside meals, and Excalibur will ensure your itinerary includes such a stop. This makes a picnic lunch a delightful pairing for your Quest.
The area also features excellent restaurants, bistros, and coffee/sandwich shops which offer takeout service. If you’d like, we could pick up something along the way, or your Excalibur guide can pick up your order from a local eatery while you are enjoying your visit at an earlier winery. Then you can savor it at your next stop.
We understand that unexpected changes can occur, and we strive to accommodate you as best as possible. If you believe your plans may change, please notify us at the earliest opportunity so we can assist with adjustments. Should cancellation become necessary, the following policy applies:
Guests will receive a full refund in the event that Excalibur must cancel due to severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Dress for the Occasion! You may have the opportunity to walk among the vines, so think about suitable footwear. Summers tend to be warm and dry, so hats/sunglasses are recommended. We are fortunate to enjoy cooler weather and gentle rain most of the year, which is wonderful for grapes but not always for people, so appropriate hats/jackets may be advisable.
Avoid Perfumes and Fragrances. These can interfere with your ability to fully appreciate the subtle aromas you will experience.
Take Notes. Your sustainable Excalibur Gift Box includes a personalized notepad and pencils, and your notes will help create cherished memories of your Quest.
Ask Questions. Don’t be shy about asking your guide or the winemakers lots of questions. They love sharing their knowledge and passion for sustainable winemaking.
Stay Hydrated. Your sustainable Excalibur Gift Box includes OpenWater® purified water in a reusable/recyclable 16-ounce aluminum bottle.
Excalibur welcomes younger guests. A car seat or booster seat is required for children up to 8 years old or 57 inches tall. If needed, a seat can be rented for $25.
Please note that many wineries have a 21+ age restriction, so please let Excalibur know the ages of all younger guests in advance to help us plan the best experience for everyone.
